About This Special Issue
Toxicology deals with the adverse effects of chemicals on the health of animals including humans. Understanding the mechanisms of toxicity and analyzing the data of toxins for risk estimation will help to improve the working methods and lifestyles of humans. Chemicals and metals having considerable toxic effects should be checked for their toxicity on different animal models. With an international scope, the aim of the American Journal of BioScience is to timely publish scholarly articles with rigorous reviewing procedures. This special issue on ‘Recent Trends in Experimental Toxicology’ invites original research papers that comprehensively cover studies on functional and structural aspects in toxicology. The principal aim of this special issue is to provide a platform to all the toxicologists to share their experimental designs and newest scientific advancements in the field of toxicology. This issue will cover all the diverse chemical hazards encountered in the natural environment and occupational setups. It will help to understand the practical aspects of these hazards in a better way.

In addition to original research papers, detailed in-depth reviews and mini-reviews are also invited on different aspects of experimental toxicology. Aims and Scope

Contributions in the form of original research papers, detailed reviews or mini-reviews are invited in the following specialized fields:

1. Animal toxicology
2. Human toxicology
3. Environmental toxicology
4. Toxicogenomics

Abstract: Menstruation is very important phase of reproductive cycle which involves many hormonal changes. Hormone production is known to be affected by diet. Poor nutrition in female diet can affect menstrual cycle and lead to menstrual disorders and pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS). A cross-sectional study was undertaken to analyze the association of dietary h... Show More

Abstract: Arsenic is an ubiquitous element in the environment. In the present study we investigated the effects of arsenic trioxide (AsIII) on lipid peroxidation and on the activity of antioxidant enzymes in the kidney of albino mice. Albino mice were divided into three groups. Group I were kept as control. Group II were administrated an oral dose of arsenic... Show More
